Our wedding was held at the Riverside Pavilion in Daytona Beach, Florida. Since that's where I grew up, and my entire family and most of my friends live there.. we figured it'd be wise to have it there. So Matt, his parents, and I travelled to Florida for the event. We truly appreciate our wonderful friends and family who did so much to make our day special for us.. and we are especially gratefull to those who travelled from out of state to be there. Thanks, guys!

Elena and Romeo: Married!

Coral Springs, Florida

Elena and Romeo's wedding day was lovely. This was my 4th trip to Florida for a wedding shoot since moving to Washington, and I feel very privileged that my brides love my work enough that they don't just seek out a local photographer instead of hiring me!

True to Florida Summer weather, there was a thunderstorm in the forecast.. and thunderstorm it did! But it couldn't have been more perfect and ended just in time.

Their intimate reception was held in the courtyard of a relative's home, where the couple served wine and hors d' oeuvres, as well as dessert and wedding cake. So much love!

Lorna and Sandel

Here are some engagement session highlights of Lorna and Sandel in South Florida. I met Lorna a couple of Summers ago when I lived in Florida while she was on vacation with a friend in my area. During her visit she had seen one of my sample albums, so when she recently started planning her wedding she remembered me. By then I had moved to Washington, but happily agreed to the shoot anyways. I will be traveling back down to Florida at the end of August for their Summer wedding. Can't wait!
