"..quite simply much too far for me to row.."

I'm feeling very grateful today.
I am in Florida right now, due to a family emergency that turned out to be okay in
the end. Glad my auntie is doing better.

I miss my wonderful husband, but happy to spend time with the fam... it's hard living so far away from them. But I'm very thankful that our lifestyle allows me to be here when I need to be.

A gigantic thank you to all of my family and friends for your support and encouragement throughout the years of my development as an artist. Thank you for instilling the confidence in me to pursue my great love of photography. Thank you to all of my clients along the way, for allowing me the privillege of being a part of your life, documenting your moments huge and small.

So, Matt and I will be off soon to photograph a much anticipated wedding in Boca Raton, Florida. We're so excited! My big plans for this trip, besides the wedding photography, include: BEACH!!!!! visiting with the family... sun... more beach... hanging out with friends... definitely some more beach...

...and most of all, I'm vowing to take time to stop and "shoot" the roses. It's easy on a desintation shoot to get wrapped up in the whirlwind of the wedding event and be so consumed by it that you spend little time documenting other things along the way. It's not all business, so I promise to have some nice, non-wedding images to share as well!
